Extremely inefficiently run!! Went for brunch on Sunday, it took an hour to get our food. They serve meals in order, which is normal, but they also prepare meals in order. Most people order crepes, but because they cook in order, you look over and the two crepe stoves are completely empty for much of the time. We tried to order bagels to-go as well, but it is apparently too difficult to put some bagels in a bag, because they waited until our order was next in line to give them out. Don't waste your time coming here if you're looking for a place to eat. Extremely inefficiently run, small portions.

Highly recommend this place! Food is always prepared fresh and tasty. They have a good variety of gluten free and vegetarian dishes along with a selection of local craft brews. My favorite lunch item is the feisty feta ham sandwich/panini and they have great breakfast options too. Delicious biscuits and jam, breakfast sandwiches on waffles, it's out of this world good. Go give City lights a try, you'll be glad you did.

Our coffee came out after waiting 30 min, and by the time our meals came out we had already finished the coffee and wanted more. But we didn't want to order more and risk having to stay another 30 min after we've finished our food.

Great place to have lunch and enjoy a book or catch up on emails via your tablet. The menu has a variety of healthy options and some downright delicious crepes. Friendly service rounds out the scrumptious food and rich coffee selections. I plan to come back here many times in the future.

The food here is fresh, well prepared, and as locally sorced as possible. They have a decent beer selection but their coffee offerings are hit or miss depending on who is working the espresso machine. Sometimes there is live music and sometimes there are single individuals taking up a number of the available tables. I've never not had a place to sit, but I'm sure it happens from time to time. Nice people all around though.

What an amazing experience all around! Absolute serendipitous finding of the place but it made me want to stay in this town longer. Definitely becoming a permanent stop on my trips through Sylva

I rarely ever leave reviews, but I was so frustrated with this place that I had to leave one. Won't ever return.
