I refuse to ever take anyone in my family including myself back to this hospital. Got a few horror stories for you. Several months ago i called an ambulance for my son because he wake up in a horrible and zombie like state. he was put on new meds for help sleeping. i gave him the dose the dr told me. well, he was taken to this hospital who said he was fine and sent us home. 3 hours go by and my son is simply not acting right. i took him the mission in asheville. my son was in the middle of a drug overdose because the dr told me to give him the wrong dose of meds. this hospital sent a 3 year old home in the middle of a drug overdose. really? i also gave birth here. it was a short labor and delivery, but the afterbirth would not come out. the dr sat there pushing and pulling at me for over an hour while im losing lots of blood. my body went into shock and my mother had to start screaming for them to take me to surgery. they said 10 more mins and i would have died. they were just gonna let me die! I got plenty more stories but i wont write them all. this is absolutely the worst hospital ive ever been to. never going back!

The first nurse looking after me was great. The second nurse was so rude that I was crying during a CT scan. All I did to set her off was ask her to take my temperature. If I wouldn't have been there for emergency kidney surgery, I would have left. When it was time for me to leave, the 2nd nurse literally stuffed my belongings in my bag then left the room. She was supposed to come back with instructions. I waited an hour and a half for her. She never came back. The first nurse was very sweet and kind. I hope to never go back there for any reason.

We just had our daughter at the Birthing Center at Harris Regional and it was a magical experience that we will NEVER forget! All of the nursing staff was ABSOLUTELY amazing! We live in Atlanta but due to the special circumstances of our pregnancy the birth had to happen at Harris. I'll admit, leading up to the delivery there were times that I had my concerns. However, when our big day came and for the two days following, I don't think we could have received more compassionate, attentive, supportive, or higher quality care anywhere. As I read some of the negative reviews I am honestly shocked because our experience was hard to have been improved, and we have very high standards. Yes, the facility wasn't as nice as most of our "big city" hospitals and the meals could always be (much) improved, but the nursing staff and the care we received was second to none! Thank you!

My daughter hurt her wrist skating. Her doctor ordered an x-ray and sent us to the Medical Office Building to have it done. She wrote for the results to be sent “Stat” on the x-ray order. We were supposed to be informed that evening of what the results were. I never received a phone call so I assumed it was not broken. The entire next day, I waited for a phone call, but heard nothing. I then had to go to the doctor’s office and inquire about the results after work. The doctor’s office told me that they never received any results at all. We had to wait for an hour at the doctor’s office while they searched on the computer for the results. It turns out that it was indeed broken! I am very upset after paying 125 dollars for an x-ray that nobody could be bothered to send the results to the doctor’s office. So my seven year old had to go a day and a half longer in pain with a broken bone because of this. We were also told that she might have to go for a whole week more without seeing the orthopedist due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Fortunately, Sylva Orthopedics was helpful and got her worked in first thing the next morning. However, she never would have had to wait in pain if the people at the Medical Office Building had done their job.

Extremely friendly and hardworking staff! All employees very knowledgeable and helpful. I've never been to a better hospital. Very clean, looks brand new. Short ER wait time (15 min).
