Went in the afternoon, so no movies playing :-( But the food was very good. My wife had the chili and only when the waitress told her it was vegan, did she realize it. Delicious! The burger was tasty. A good beer selection on tap.
Loved this place! We tried to go to another restaurant in town, but they were full and recommended we try Mad Batter. We were so happy it turned out this way! We happened to show up on one of their live jazz nights and it was awesome! We were seated in the front row and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff was friendly and nice. The only thing the could have done better was be a little more attentive. Overall great experience!
We stopped by on our way back from Bryson City our 3rd day on vacation. The food was good, and the service was great. I get the concept, it's interesting, we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, as a local band was finishing up it's gig. Honestly, after visiting other restaurants in surrounding towns and experiencing better food at cheaper prices, I would pass the next time we're in the area vacationing. Sticker shock...$69+ for a BLT, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, a cheeseburger and bacon/biscuit/egg with 2 waters and 3 sodas...way over priced.
This place is a great place to eat. It's perfect for families and couples. The service is great, and the food is even better. The prices are pretty good. I recommend mad batter to anyone new to the area, or are just visiting.
Food is terrific! Pizzas and curry dishes are delicious. Waitresses are all very sweet. Would be 5 stars but they are very slow getting food out, worth the wait though...
