I use Ward's Plumbing & Heating for all of my A/C repair work. When I call in for service work, the turn-around time is quick. They accommodate my schedule. Lisa, in the office, is wonderful and Joe is great at repairs and customer service.
We sere scheduled to have service to our rental property and although the technician did not show on the reported day (for which the company apologized) we received excellent service the following business day and Wards did not charge us for the service call. The manager personally called me to apologize. We would definitely use Ward's again in the future.
The weather was HOT and our A/C went out suddenly. With kids in the house, we needed a quick fix. I called Ward right away because I knew their reputation for reliability and needed someone I could trust. What a great feeling to speak with Lisa and hang up the phone knowing that help was on the way. By that evening, Ward had resolved our issue. My husband and I live outside Charlotte, NC and have a cabin in the Sylva area that has a heat pump leak. Not being in the area full time it was a bit difficult to arrange service for when we could be in town to have the leak test done. We were finally able to schedule a date, so I took the day off work to be there. No one showed up, no one bothered to call to let us know they would not be coming out. Earlier in the week they asked to move the appointment from 8am to 6pm (which I guess was a bad sign in the first place), and since it was after regular business hours we were not able to get hold of anyone to find out what was going on. I am angry and frustrated at losing a day of work to have nothing accomplished, topped off by the complete lack of professionalism by not even being contacted.
