These guys are wonderful. My motor suddenly died for no apparent reason as I was coming down the mountain, but then it started again and seemed to be OK. I pulled into their lot to check it out. The head mechanic - I wish I could recall his name - took a few minutes away from his full shop to listen to my description of what happened. He then checked the oil level and saw it was a quart low, and explained exactly and I have no doubt correctly why that caused the engine to do what it had. He added the missing quart of oil - and didn’t even charge me for it! A dishonest shop could easily have sold me a $1000+ timing belt replacement that I didn’t need and I would never have known better. There will never be enough people in the world like these guys!

We were headed down to Franklin for vacation from Ohio when our car completely died (while driving around a steep curve on a huge downhill). Joseph came and tried to figure out the issue and we realized it was a bigger problem and needed a tow. Then Aaron came and towed us. Both called taxis for us, hotels, and helped us figure out what to do for the night. This was particularly difficult because we had our dogs with us and they were super stressed. The whole situation could have been a nightmare, but Joseph and Aaron really helped us out and lowered the stress. They found us a pet friendly hotel nearby and then Aaron dropped us off at the hotel before taking our car on to the shop. They knew we were stressed about the dogs and never rushed us to make decisions or anything. Overall, a potentially bad situation that actually went quite well.
Jason and staff are amazing. My car broke down while I was visiting Sylva ( I live in Virginia 6 hours away). Not only did they fix my car quickly, they actually helped me sell it as well. Ridgecrest went above and beyond to help me out. I would recommend them to anyone!
